Die 50-MP-Hauptkamera des Fairphone (Gen. 6) ist mit einem Sony Lytia 700C-Sensor ausgestattet, der selbst bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen hervorragende Aufnahmen mit lebendigen Details liefert. Mit Funktionen wie optischer Bildstabilisierung (OIS) und Autofokus gehören Schleier und Unschärfe der Vergangenheit an. Das Einsetzen einer neuen Hauptkamera zu Hause ist einfach und dauert, wie alle anderen Fairphone-Reparaturen, nicht länger als zehn Minuten.
