Ero indeciso tra tre modelli diversi, ma alla fine il 6gen rispecchia perfettamente l'esigenza per l'uso che faccio del mio telefono con un ottima personalizzazione per quanto riguarda le autorizzazioni ai propri dati, telefono efficiente, prestante e soprattutto sostenibile!

Problems with location, which means it doesn't support important apps such as Bank ID.

Otherwise a good phone, however the phone can't install latest FP updates. How to keep the phone functioning properly for years if it can't install the official updates? The FP Customer Service has not been able to solve the problem.

Needs future parts compatibility with next Fiarphone releases to extend parts availability. A camera is a camera, and a USB port is a USB port, and a screen is a screen. Making them new and incompatible every couple of years seems rather silly. If it is really required sure, break backwards compatibility, but every time you do so justify it.

The way to use is more intuitive, like, the design and weight also improve a lot, I'm very happy with this phone

Two weeks into using the Fairphone now, and I can confidently say that this is a big upgrade over my previous phone (a mid-tier Android that I actually really enjoyed). My biggest concerns about the Fairphone were the cameras and the processor, and both perform exactly as I need them to (as a photographer who edits a lot on my phone). Also happy using it without a case knowing I can buy replacement parts, so the overally feeling of using the phone is really enjoyable. Big fan. Trying to get all my friends and family to switch to Fairphone now.

It is heavier and thicker than expected. In general it seems to be a great phone and all warranties you offer make me really satisfied.

LOVE so much this new generation. Althought I have problems with the placement of the ouside buttons. The ones for the sound should be upper in my opinion as It were in the past.

This phone is performing flawlessly well. Great experience. I saw someone being sceptical about battery life, but it lasts 3 times longer than my old phone. Some nights I choose not to charge it, as there's still 80-90% after using it quite a lot during the day (to my standards at least). This combined with being able to replace all parts, environmental and social sustainability, extra long assurance and a very active support team makes this phone incomparably good.

great hardware, sure... 599€ that's a lot but, honestly for what it offers for the future I prefer to use this phone.

I love this phone. I love it so much its my main phone. I think everyone already knows the positives and negatives. Its pricey in USA, and in EUROPE its not (for someone it could still be). I love the hardware. But we gotta talk about the software, the moments switch works, but the mode itself is pretty unfinished and crashes when selecting a preset. Instead I use the InkOS launcher and i thankfully could remap this key to something else, like DND. I didnt thought i would be saying this because i wanted to like the feature, but it isnt finished yet.

A solid phone that does everything you need with long term support and easy repairability. It also has the benefit that's it's not made at the expense of people or planet.

Absolutely love the look and feel of the device! Pure Android experience is great, but sometimes there is a bit of lag at the unlock screen (I use pattern unlock, not sure if that matters). I also don't love the fact that the DisplayPort support was dropped. Overall, really like the Fairphone (gen. 6).

The product is well-built and I believe they have achieved what they wanted to achieve with this product. I would however urge you to consider that this is using something very close to stock Android. So if you are coming from Sams-ung, for example, there are quite a lot of software features that you won't find here. If you are fine with that then I'm sure you will enjoy the phone. The one thing about the phone that I am a bit disappointed by is the camera. It doesn't produce the quality of photo that I want.

The Fairphone's mission, and its hardware, are both incredibly lovely. The new design is minimal, modern, and timeless. The screen is beautiful, the battery is powerful, lasting multiple days on one charge when running /e/OS in privacy mode. I switched to this phone so that I'd never have to buy another, and I can confidently say I'm happy that the Fairphone is the one I'll be sticking with for as long as I can. They've enabled me to de-google, and to take control of my smartphone use. They made a phone that is aesthetically pleasing, nice to hold in the hand, and is very repairable. I salute you, Fairphone. Great work.

Takes too long to wake up when double tapping, doesn't have assistive touch, buttons are not places strategically and ergonomically, you'll take many unintentional screenshots. Easy to hop in chats when pressing on notifications from lock screen (should be a slide or so...) No notes app, no weather app, documents don't get transfered from other phones only photos and app data,

The main reason I bought it: it is a fair phone (labor, resources, recycle), company has promised long term support and that you can replace parts easily. I used to have a Pixel 6a (battery issue that make me change) and I have a security mindset. This phone is behind pixel one month, from research the rest of brands that provide security updates are also behind one month, I don't like it but for now it is what it is; I hope they can expedite security updates. Phone works well, it is not as heavy as thought. I don't like where the volume buttons are located, I press them by mistake, and even worse that when I press the lock button, which makes me take screenshots (I have read this is a known issue). It is designed for right handed people, the fingerprint sensor is on a right side button. There are some bugs in usability, like screen rotating when auto rotate is off and some mis behaves with some screen touch movements. However I think they will fix them.

Great phone all around. You get what you pay for. No problems so far (2 weeks). Really good screen, surprisingly good video, pretty good photos, the SD storage option is amazing, truly beautiful, hardened and easy to clean exterior. Sound quality is mediocre. Then again, it wasn't advertised as better than that.

nice quality, switch can be configured to "do not disturb". However, one of the major (in my case) functions of the smartphone does not work: "phone as a key" (to a Ford), which is most probably related to the BT issues reported also by others. I submitted detailed "request" on the site but got neither an answer nor a confirmation, so it seems all I can do is to wait for an update...

The battery doesn’t last as long as I expected and charging it is a hassle. I had trouble getting any response from customer service when I reached out for help. The phone didn’t come with a charger, so I had to buy one separately—which feels less environmentally friendly than including one with the phone. Also, I really miss having a headphone jack; since it is not a benefit for the battery

This is truly an excellent phone. I have been an android user for years, and like the way the google suite are the default, however, from owning a pixel phone, I essentially had no control over the apps I could see or use. The fairphone has changed that, I can personalised almost everything, which I love! The screen quality is excellent, camera is good and speakers are ok (they can be a little tinny). However, what stands this phone out from the rest is the Moments. This system should be compulsory on all phones in the years, it is that good! I have been looking for a smart 'dumb' phone for years, and with moments you can essentially have two phones. A smart phone, for when you occasionally need to look at maps or order something, and the Moments phone, where you're free from all the tricks tech companies play to keep you on their apps. My screen time has plummeted, and I feel all the better for it. Plus, it's an ethically made phone, and looks cute - what more do you need!

I'm about two weeks into having the new phone and it all seems good. The fingerprint scanner on the side is taking some getting used to. The SD upgradable storage is great, 1TB in my phone now, so I can take as many pictures and videos as I like. The android OS is fine, cameras are okay, good enough for most use cases. The phone itself not too huge or tiny, so it's comfortable to use, and battery life is great so far. And if I break a part on it, I can easily replace the part myself and not just have to replace the whole phone, like my last one.

I'm very happy with my Fairphone 6. My only issue is that, along with all smart phones, it's virtually impossible to escape the clutches of google and the other big data gatherers. I don't want my entire life synced to the cloud, but it's so difficult to switch these things off.

Very pleased with the Fair phone 6. Easy to order and pay on line. Delivered appropriately and within timeframe. It was easy to set up and transfer data from my really old mobile phone. Main reason for purchasing was longevity and sustainability, especially ability to be able to repair.

Setup was great, only limitation I can see at the moment is that phone sometimes lags when woken up. Future uldates should hopefully fix this issue

The phone feels premium, it is a bit thick but also solid. Love the switch. Really good and bright display, good battery life, good camera (even in sometimes the post processing doesn't work as intended). Very happy with the fair manufacturing also. A few bugs currently (ex: auto-brightness switching too fast, some drops in frame rate, the switch not working when screen is locked), but definetly satisfied with the product.

I love my new phone. The design is slick and cool and the performance is great. Great display, good baterry life and a good camera (the only negative i can think of is the zoom in function while filming).

All in all this is a good and clean product! The upper state panel with editable virtual buttons like gps mobile net bluetooth etc a bit buggy. And I had a very bad experience about flashing the Murena e/os the documentation about the security patch level versioning is not so good.

I chose Fairphone both for its commitment to environmental sustainability and social responsibility, and for its focus on repairability and long-term software support. So far, I'm very happy with my choice. One of the few drawbacks is that the audio volume is rather low.

I really do love this phone and the Fair phone idea behind their work, it's so satisfying to support a company with this watchful eye about us customers and the environment too. I love how it has everything you need without compromising on hardware. After this, I see some bug that I would love to be resolved or some features for customisation that I think could be awesome to be implemented! I really do recommend this phone to everyone.

Overall good experience. Good build quality, excellent handling, clean operating system. Battery connection slipped on second day, lives up to it's reputation, very quick to fix. No problems since.

An excellent device, it's a delight to use and I even feel some pride in owning this phone specifically.

To be repairable it needs to be relevant by the time it needs to be repaired. Way too many corners were cut on this device: no always-on-display, no USB 2.0, average camera (worse than previous gen). The green plastic shell catches fingerprints like crazy. The stock Google Android OS is okay, but /e/OS is absolutely terrible (and I'm coming from CalyxOS): they removed features from stock AOSP such as changing the colors, the switch can't be customized, the stock app store can't download apps for some reason, the camera zoom is broken in any camera app... so many problems. In the end it's a low-end phone priced as a mid-range phone; I understand why it's more expensive, but Fairphone, listen: I'd be willing to pay even more for a compact, repairable de-Googled Android phone that doesn't suck and that is still relevant 3 years along the way when I do need to do some maintenance. This phone is not relevant in 2025 unless all you want to do is place a few calls.

Exactly what I was expecting, and hoping for! The green is really nice and pops in the sunlight, the phone is nice and light to hold, and doesn't feel like it needs to be cased due to the plastic construction. Why all phones nowadays have to be glass and metal is beyond me. The Moments switch is nice, and I am using that often, nice that it's not a dull colour too. The placement of the power and volume buttons is a little odd. Really only a practical issue when trying to use a car mount of the "squeezy" type. Software wise I've had some issues with Bluetooth headphones (fixed in update), some severe frame rate slowdowns, and the ambient light sensor is very erratic. These feel like early software version issues and aren't worrying me. Otherwise it's a pretty clean Android experience. I've switched to Niagara launcher.

Good phone. Camera is mediocre, and the phone is a bit slow to what Im used to. This was expected so its not a surprise. The reason for the 3 stars is the issue I have with the esim. The connection comes and goes, currently Im in contact with the support and hopefully it will be solved.

It has what you expect from an ethically designed phone

Good & solid phone. Really a step up to all previous versions. Screws are okay and make the phone last longer. Love to know that I can change battery and parts. It's very quick, 120hz display is gorgeous. Don't understand the switch on the side, it's just a gimmick, nor the placement of the volume rocker. Continuously press it accidentally when I want to switch off the phone. Also deliver with mint android, which comes with certain drawbacks. Cannot deinstall YouTube, no free photo app aside from Google. You can buy a degoogled version, but i don't understand the price bump of 50€. In conclusion it's the best phone out there for people who want to use it well into the 2030s and I hope they will offer upgrade parts along the way.

Left Google after pixel 6a battery issue. Just couldn't let the big companies keep on playing their game. Loved the concept of fairphone but that really tipped me over. Device feels nice in my hands. Case does not feel too chunky either. Left the 5th star as I'd have to see how long it actually lasts! Looking forward to using this for a good while.

I bought for the sustainable credentials but was pleased to find it well designed and easy to set up. Battery life however is disappointing (far less than my 3.5 year old Nokia g50 that I bought it to replace).

The Fair phone is what it says. I have been an iPhone user for years and delighted to give it up but have experienced difficulties transferring my data across, even with friends' help. Fair phone has not responded to my queries, disappointingly.

The case is good looking, but the USB-C opening is too small and it prevents me from using my USB-C external DAC. No other case has presented this problem before on previous phones. It makes being able to touch the fingerprint sensor much harder, you need to come at an angle on it and it reduces the contact surface by about half. And the open back thing, although I can see how it would be helpful with accessories, makes the case feel a bit wobbly and not hugging the sides tight. And most people, I would bet, will not buy accessories and would have preferred the back fully covered. The large cut-out for the yellow button and the fingerprint sensor also makes it more probably for the phone to crack if dropped, because a considerable part of the phone's right side is not protected by a raised edge. All-in-all, I can't recommend this case. I bought it because I had to, since there is no other case available. But I hope a better after-market case comes along.

Globally interesting product. I like the switch for the FairPhone moment, the size, the possibility to attache accessories to it. The volume buttons are not well located and I push them by mistake most of the time when I pick up the phone. But the main drawback is the USB C 2.0 port, which makes impossible to have the desktop mode. A serious regression hard to explain from FairPhone...

Product is great! Might take a while to ship to Ireland but understandable. So far so good, I don't miss my "mainstream" phone (Nothing Phone 1 whose camera now produces weird striations on output images)

Buttons' positioning is terrible, I keep taking screenshots while I try to lock the phone since the volume down button is exactly opposite the screen lock/touch id button No cover is available (yet) and the case is made of a hard plastic that's quite slippery Great look and feel though, and the phone feels quite snappy Battery really lasts for almost two days

I would say that I generally like the quality of the product, nevertheless the fingerprint sensor doesn't work perfectly, maybe it's too small? I also reckon that the green colour is different from the photos, I liked it more on the website.

Excellent functionality, Excellent design and free from exploitation

The use of USB 2.0 prevents me to rate the device higher as thia makes it averago at best in my particular case.

The phone works fine and the installation has been quite easy. The step by step video has been quite useful. I will have to see if it lasts as much as it promises. I hope so. On the other hand, for a 600€ phone, I would have expected some details towards the customer. For example, charging extra for the shipping is not ecologic, but miserable. The same goes for the case. Being ecologic cannot mean that you can charge separately a case of 40 or even 50€. A fair product cannot have four of five times the prices or very primary products that could be produced locally in Europe for much less. Thus I am happy with the phone but all the we are a fair company seems a way to excuse any abusive price that might be due to an not optimized production system.

Switched from a long-served OnePlus 7T after reviewing several options and following Fairphone development. I'm very pleased with the phone: it has a nice design, great functionality, and the new Mood Switch is just incredibly handy. Everything is 100% great, except for two issues. The dual SIM solution with one physical and one eSIM is excellent, but it came as a bit of a surprise, and I'm still working on how to configure it to match my setup. Low battery life was a bigger disappointment. Even though I'm not on the phone all the time, just checking emails and messages, using a mobile app for commuting, reading the news, and a couple of occasional visits to social media eat the battery in a day. I can certainly live with this, now that I know, but I look forward to an OS update that could be more energy-efficient.

Very nice phone that aligns with my ethics. However, during the set up process, a software update was required. After installing update, I had to enter my PIN. Unfortunately I had forgotten the PIN and online instructions suggested resetting phone to factory settings. I did this, and upon restart I was asked to enter the original PIN. The other option was to use a Google account. I tried to do this but I had forgotten the password on the account I set up to use the phone - Google couldn’t retrieve my account as it did not “have enough information about me”. Google suggested I set up a new account, which I did. However, as part of logging into the new account, I had to re-enter the password I last remembered using, which I did, and guess what, yep, Google didn’t “have enough information” about me to reinstate the account. So I have been completely locked out of a brand new phone and have no way of getting in. I followed the Fairphone procedure to return the phone under the 14 day cooling off period. Initially good service, a prompt reply. Then radio silence for nearly 3 days now, despite follow up emails. I know it’s my fault I forgot passwords, but the fact it’s impossible to choose a new PIN or open a new Google account is pretty poor and a problem I’ve never had with 20 years of iPhone use. Add to this the lack of contact from Fairphone to make my return an easy process and I’m really disappointed and am going to have to request a chargeback via my credit card and send the phone back. Fairphone could have avoided a return and bad review if they simply reached out to me offering a solution to the problems I was having with logging into the phone. A real shame as the product itself seems awesome.

Sehr stylischer Look, liegt gut in der Hand. Das umziehen von Android auf Fairphone war ganz einfach. Bin sehr gespannt auf die nächsten Jahre und hoffe, das Fairphone bleibt lange Zeit in meinem Besitz!

While having a few rough edges in software, the phone is enough for everyday use and I also like to support EU-based companies.

I am very disappointed with the FP 6, the FP4 is better in all respects. Having moved my SIM to the FP6, I had real problems getting the phone to work, with no support from Fairphone, and in order to continue making and receiving phone calls had to move the SIM back to the FP4. I have now got the FP6 working with a Lebara SIM, but it is much less user friendly than the FP4, almost the same size and weight but clumsier.

Excellent phone so far, no issues and great to see the 5 year warranty. Super excited about the back plate add-ons.

It's the phone I was looking for. Repairable and with updates for several years. Plus, the option of a custom ROM.

Good smartphone overall. I like the design and the construction quality. By now the base os sw seems to work well with all my apps. The A/V feature over usb-c isn't well documented so far. I hope this would be supported ootb
